The Republic of Uganda lies at the Equator, north of Lake Victoria in Africa.
| English is the official language of Uganda, but Luganda is the main language used. Some Swahili is introduced and is being taught as well. The children (who may speak several different languages) are taught in both Luganda and English to read and write. |
