Dear Friends: With contributions from you and other friends of Kisa Primary School, the new kitchen was completed this week. It has six high efficiency wood burning stoves, running water, and a clean spacious food storage area. The new kitchen is a huge improvement over the previous facilities. It will be much cheaper to operate because of the high efficiency stoves; it will be a much healthier environment for the kitchen workers, and sanitation will be greatly improved. You can be very proud you helped to build this beautiful new facility which will be serving meals to Uganda children for many years to come. Thank you for your help.
You will want to see the picture of the great race at Kisa School Nansana in 2008

The great race of 2008 at Kisa School Nansana... two of the children had just arrived at the school... classes represented are: 1-baby-class, 1-middle-class-babyclass and 2-Top-baby-class; also there were two 2-graderes... one of the goings-on at kisa school nansana, this year...
Be sure and download the latest Kisa Student Life (March 28, 2008) Kisa Student Life.
Thanks to a generous and talented benefactor we now have a video of the school children available for download on the Our Video & Photographs page.
I tentatively scheduled 2nd July 2006 to be the day of dedication of the Ben Water Memorial at Kisa School Nansana, subject to Irene & Jimmy Kibuuka’s approval. Irene has been very seriously ill (part of her body paralyzed); she is slowly improving, at this time.

The dedication will be a very simple program, with simple presentations by some students and some teachers about the water situation here. To date, the system of piped water and tanks for the rain water, is very visible at the school. Ben’s memory lives on… at Kisa School Nansana, Uganda. Thank you, very much, family and friends.
My Dear Friends... greetings from uganda... yesterday I met a lady: the founder of Kampala Music School who knows Mrs Dinniwiday (who introduced me to the classical music - the piano: and all that, in the 1940's)

I am very happy now, to be part of the Kampala music School: directed by Mr. Simon Yiga: (please find more info about all this on the web at www.kampalamusicschool.com

My Dear friends... It is now 12 years since this little school came into existence... Some of the pioneer students of this school are soon going to start college and university studies... I am offering two small scholarships ($300.00 each) to a female and a male student who elect to go to a technical/trade school in Uganda for a two year diploma/certicate course leading to job...

In addition to this school, I have helped build other schools in Uganda: AnnaMarie Primary School at Mugongo - Uganda, and Masaka Town College (a high school), Masaka - Uganda. I did dream of building more schools in Uganda for the sake of the children... I am happy I have done the best I could with the help of a lot of my friends, with my limited means... I remember reading or hearing something to the effect that TIME stays-put: but humans come and go: Let's keep going well...

Thank you, thank you very much.

Dear Friends... the shipping to Ug is almost ready to take off... the last Friday of April 2006......from BOTHELL WA-US:...to Wandegeya-Kampala, UG... This is possible thanks to many generous wonderful people and several humanitarian organizations...shipping four (4) medical-dental-chairs (SMILE_POWER International)...shipping seven (7) pianos (SEATTLE PIANO-GALLERY & Lynnwood SENIOR CENTER) and maybe one electric organ (ELKS Lodge Lynnwood)...other-stuff especially for poor children of Uganda Thank you, thank you very much.

Dear friends... I did see some of you and/or heard from some of you about this project...
which is now in memory of Ben Pawlewicz...

Presently there is, so far, at least $5000.00 for the project: therefore, I have decided to
go and start setting up the welll: I will probably employ the Safe Water Drilling Company - in Uganda.

Thank you... thank you... thank you very much...

26 December 2005

My Dear Friends... Greetings... I have sent a picture of my two special assistants: Sylia Munafu and Tony Busuulwsa (top photo below) - working THE LIFE-LONG LEARNING LIbrary (at the Uganda Museum grounds)... Kampala, Uganda.

Now as to the water situation at Kisa School Nansana... it is/it has been a problem all along... and now with over 500 people 'living' at the site... the need for an adequate supply of water is quite imperative... The minimum amount of money needed is $10,000... tentatively I have $2000 (personally) Rotarian Margie Burnet of Bellvue (Breakfast Club) is organizing something... (she has been in Uganda and seen my school)... I have also just met Adora McGuire.. who promises to help raise some money... ...and of course there is Khadija... As soon as possible I plan to go to Uganda... at the site, to take a close look and what it will take to do this as quickly as possible...

My Dear friends, relatives... allow me to share with you:
the following simple message - attached...
Thank you very much...
